A Set Time

One of the hardest things we are sometimes faced with is waiting on God to come through for us when life throws us a curveball or waiting for an answer to prayer. The thing about God is He has set times for all things He wants done on earth and the process of waiting may be toilsome.
• God Speaks
• We Wait
• Things Manifest
When God gives us a promise or when we have asked things of Him in prayer we may have to wait in faith. We may never know how long the wait will be.
“A thousand years in Your sight are like a day that has just gone by, or like a watch in the night.” Psalms 90:4 (NIV)
We have to trust that what God has not caused to manifest is not needed at the moment. In Genesis 1, God speaks all things into the realm of the spirit. Though we may never know the exact time that God waited to establish His words, we do know that when the need arose He cradled them to life.
“Now no shrub had yet appeared on the earth and no plant had yet sprung up, for the Lord God had not sent rain on the earth and there was no one to work the ground, but streams came up from the earth and watered the whole surface of the ground. Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.” Genesis 2:5 – 7 (NIV)
When God saw that the soil needed to be tended to, He formed Adam from the dust of the ground and He was made manifest as a fulfillment to His words.
Therefore, every promise God has given you and every need you may be faced with trust that God will come through for you at the right time. His times were set before time came to be and He can never fail.
“God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?” Numbers 23:19 (NKJV)
God has no idle words. Though the wait may be painful, God’s words will always come to pass.
Stand strong and have faith. God is faithful.
