How does God know to let the clouds sit and the wind blow all the while He sends birds to their food and flowers their garments? How does He know how to colour the skies and maintain the balance of the atmosphere? How does He know to give me what I need and cause my heart to hear His voice? How does He know to hold the Heavens together and keep the earth rotating in a perfect orbit around the sun? How does He do all these and put me back together when life tears me apart? This is a story a girl once broken but now mended by God of the universe who cares so much about us.
Have you ever been in such pain that you were left thinking your life is but unnoticeable amongst many? Been in such a space that love was far from you in thought and in gift? This is how I had felt a few months back – unnoticable, unknown, unloved and scorned but God, in that flood of rejection, mockery and scorn came through for me and did more than they could have ever eroded my soul. He held me, tended to me, led me in His love and healed me completely, thoroughly.
“When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained. What is man that You are mindful of Him, And the son of man that You visit him?” Psalm 8:3-4 (NKJV)
What troubles are you faced with today or have been faced with; what has brought anxiety in your heart lately that you feel God cannot speak to and cause life to spring out of it? God cares, He is love. He loves you. He sees your pain and is eager to come help you, heal you if only you would ask Him
“He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.” 1 John 4:8 (NKJV)
“Behold, the LORD’s hand is not shortened, That it cannot save; Nor His ear heavy, That it cannot hear.” Isaiah 59:1 (NKJV)
The God who holds all things in place wants to hold your life in place and restore you to the person He had created you to be before cares gripped you.
“Come to Me, all you who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30 (NKJV)
Jesus loves you. I love you.
