Hidden in Power

On day six in the creation story God made man and man remains God’s most treasured creation on earth. He made all things for us and made us for worship – to worship Him by keeping His laws and following His ways. God, by His grace, chooses to reveal Himself to us so that we may respond to Him in worship.
“All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him.” Matthew 11:27 (NKJV)
God inhibits the praises of His people. He rewards us in intimacy with Him – an ever abiding presence of God. The benefits of guidance.
God, in His word, promises that He will never leave our side and we know that with God on our side nothing can overtake us. His presence gives us strength and success for life.
“Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery; but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.” Daniel 11:32 (NKJV)
“And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.” Matthew 28:18-20 (NKJV)
The Holy Spirit, the presence of God, is our strength. He is the power of God that raised Jesus from the dead. He is the power of God that performed miracles in the ministry of Jesus. He is the power of God that still saves us til this day. When we abide in God we are strong. He hides us in His love and nothing can come against us or defeat us.
“For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.” Colossians 3:3 (NKJV)
“So He said, “I will certainly be with you. And this shall be a sign to you that I have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God on this mountain.” Exodus 3:12 (NKJV)
“Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6 (NKJV)
“For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him. In this you have done foolishly; therefore from now on you shall have wars.” 2 Chronicles 16:9 (NKJV)
Knowing God constitutes obedience to Him. It releases favour. It releases power. It gives us amazing peace. Dwell in God’s presence and let Him prove Himself strong in you.
