You are Enough
As you hold on to God’s promise of being led by Him this year it is easy to ignore His promptings when you feel He is leading you towards what you have never done before, something that causes you anxiety or intimidates you. There is so much to remember about God, His leading and appointment that will remind you that you are enough to do all that is laid within you.
“Before I formed you I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you as a prophet to the nations.”Jeremiah 1:5 (NKJV)
The words used in this scripture capture in detail that God knows what He is doing in your life; they are there to give you
God says He knew you meaning He chose you.
He goes on to say He sanctified you meaning He set you apart or anointed you for nothing else but what He chose you to do.
Then He says I ordained you meaning He has appointed you. This means nothing can stop you. You were chosen before you knew what you wanted to do. You were anointed for it, it springs from the inside of you and has appointed no one else but you for what you have to do. You are enough.
Prophesying was Jeremiah’s job given to him by God. God who chose him and sanctified him for it. What is God leading you towards? Be brave and do it, you are prepared for it.
For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb.Psalm 139:13 (NKJV)
God knit you together, He formed every little detail of your life therefore He knows your capabilities; more than anything He knows that if you are with Him then nothing is able to stop you. Do not allow yourself to be intimidated by the tasks ahead of you, what God leads you into you are well able to do. If you are willing, God will not stop leading you until you are all He created you to be.
A word of encouragement: God cannot be defeated by anything, with Him you will be successful. The devil cannot stop you, God has already defeated him and all authority has been given to Jesus by God and He is with you. Only you can stand in your way, do not let intimidation have the better of you. You are well able.
Remember: Everything you need is within you. You lack nothing. God leads you towards who He has made you to be.
You are made fearfully and wonderfully.
